Business Associate
Avery Romano is GIF’s Business Associate. She works on Project Administered Subgrants Strategy (PASS) for GIF ensuring compliance with regulations related to subgrants. Avery is currently based remotely in her hometown of Hilton Head Island, SC. In 2021, she earned a Master of Public Policy from the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia. She has a background in policy analysis and community development. Her areas of interest are local government, planning, and community engagement. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, spoiling her cat (Pixie), and trying new recipes from Pinterest.
