GIF designs its work in collaboration with the communities that are directly affected by it. Our work is localized and locally relevant, and it leverages best practices and lessons learned from around the world.
GIF’s target audience is civil society organizations, media outlets and vulnerable communities. By ensuring that these groups, often the most marginalized and at-risk, can access the full benefits of digital technologies, GIF ensures that all citizens have access to these benefits.
Interventions center on a coalition structure that empowers local and regional actors. In each region, GIF works with a partners who are based in that region to implement activities and identify beneficiaries.
