Caroline coordinates GIF’s Digital Security objective and manages GIF’s local partner subgrantees. She brings prior international development programmatic experience to GIF, having worked in Istanbul, Turkey at a Syrian ICT organization and in Kanungu, Uganda on an education project. Caroline holds a MSc in International Development from the University of Manchester with field research on urban development conducted with Shack/Slum Dwellers International (SDI) federations in Kenya and Uganda, and a BA in International and Comparative Politics and Journalism with a focus on human rights development from the American University of Paris. Caroline enjoys travelling and photography in her spare time.
